38 miles out of Yaphank yesterday which started with near-frostbite! First 5 miles couldn’t feel my pinkys, not even the handwarmers would help! But it took just one hill & I was sweating!!
So great ride till mile 30, when my legs just decided I was Done!! But we had 8 more miles to go… So with bilateral knee pain I trudged on, wondering how I could feel so out of shape when I work out 5 days per week!! Sport specific!!! Ah, yes… I could run & lift weights but that isn’t that repetitive riding that I have become so attached to! We did it!!!
